Lookin’ good, April!!!!

In case you missed her story, April was rescued from a homicide scene on April 1st. She had been hit by a car weeks before and suffered from a collapsed lung, sever road rash, gangrene, and nerve and joint damage in her leg. She was released from the vet to a foster home on the 26th. She’s looking great and just the sweetest girl in the world.

Buddy “Frosty Paws” was rescued with severe frost bite to his paws, ears, and tails as well as a bum front leg. It was originally believed that he would lose his tail, ears, and leg, but with the excellent care of his foster mama, he ended up only losing part of his tail and regaining use of his leg. Lucky dog! He’s ready to start looking for his forever home!

Do you guys remember Mason?

I fostered this guy for quite awhile. He’s had a rough go at life, and now he’s facing another challenge. Some old internal injuries are increasingly effecting his digestive system, and he needs a $1500 surgery to correct the issue. His wonderful forever mama is having a difficult time coming up with the money, so we’re holding a fundraiser to help offset some of the costs of surgery.

One of my favorite boys in the whole wide world was adopted today <3

He’s been with us for 2 1/2 years, since he was just a tiny baby. I’m going to miss him so much, but I’m super excited that he’s finally found the perfect Daddy.

We both look silly and very blurry in this photo, but I still love it :)

This is Billy. His previous owners left him in a basement to die when they moved out of their house. Luckily, the landlord found him and called us for help. He’s all scarred up, full or worms, and emaciated, but just as sweet as can be.

Snoopy is a year old beagle that has been diagnosed with a grade VI heart murmur. This is as serious as heart murmurs get. He is scheduled to have heart surgery at MSU TOMORROW 1/22 and we need help raising the funds.
