There’s food for picky eaters.. I know Royal Canin has one called ‘Special’ for little dogs off the top of my head… Or add some wet food to the dry..

Ive had two puppies that LOVED Cheerios. Its helped them develop a little more muscle and just get overall healthier combined with regular walks or runs.
Unfortunately Royal Canin is mostly grains and fillers, little meat. Not the worst food ever, but not something I would feed my dogs. I’ve never heard of feeding Cheerios.

Eggs can be your friend! When I got my pups they came to me very skinny and I’d make them a scrambled egg everyday to mix with their kibbles. :) hope you find something that works for him!

Try mixing a little bit chicken, beef, or turkey baby food into his kibbles. When I worked in a boarding kennel and we couldn’t get the picky dogs to eat, that usually did the trick!
Thanks! I’m a little weary of eggs just because I don’t want him to pick them out and not eat the kibble, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind. My own dogs LOVE the occasional egg treat! I might try the baby food, I don’t think he’ll be able to pick it off like he would canned food.
Poor Mason in down to 7 lbs, should be more like 9 or 10 lbs. Problem is, he’s super picky and just picks at his food. I don’t want to give him canned food since it took a long time to get him used to dry food. I think I’m going to buy a bag of puppy food tomorrow to mix into his food, but I’m open to advice if anyone has it!
Just cut my stitches out. It was really exciting, but now I kind of miss them.
lol.
Wish me luck!
Today, Cincinnati City Council voted 8-1 to officially repeal the breed-specific language in Cincinnati’s vicious dog ordinance, which previously made ownership of pit bulls within city limits illegal.
and almost cried. They’re only there until Friday morning, but I hate it.
Coming back to an empty house was terrible.
A little robin hit my kitchen window about an hour ago and died before I could find a wildlife hospital to take him to. :(
Just buried him in out animal cemetery down by the river. I’m so bummed out.
