Wilson is terrified of Helga.
She’s in her crate on the other side of the room, yet Wilson is still hiding under my desk looking pitiful. Although I can’t really blame him, I mean she is a little she-devil. She needs a little old lady who will think she’s just the cutest thing and spoils her for the rest of her years. Two more days and Helga goes back to her original foster and my dogs are at peace again!

The only reason that the domesticated dog exists...
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had someone tell me that I am not justified in rescuing dogs when there are people who need help, too. But how can you tell me that we are not responsible for these animals, that they do not matter? Human life is not the only valuable life.

Home Fur-Ever is a no kill, foster based rescue in the metro Detroit area. We hold adoption events at Commerce Petsmart and Troy Petco and we DESPERATELY need volunteers to work these events!
